Oroville, CA – Republican Assemblyman James Gallagher reports raising over $630,000 for his campaign for Congress in California's First District 

(CA-1), formerly held by Congressman Doug LaMalfa who tragically passed away in early January. Gallagher did not even announce his candidacy until well into the fundraising quarter, making his numbers even more impressive.

“Local community members are stepping up in a big way to support this campaign. People here know what is at stake in the wake of Doug LaMalfa’s passing and the rigging of our Congressional lines by Gavin Newsom and Mike McGuire," said Gallagher. "I sincerely appreciate the overwhelming support and the trust that has been placed in me to serve our region in Washington DC."
