Butte County, Calif. – In the latest sign that local leaders from every corner of the 1st Congressional District are unifying behind Assemblyman James Gallagher for Congress, today Gallagher announced an impressive list of endorsements from Butte County. The continuing endorsements send a strong message that Gallagher is the natural choice to fill the open seat created by the sudden passing of Congressman Doug LaMalfa.
“When the Town of Paradise suffered an unthinkable tragedy in 2018 with the Camp Fire, Congressman Doug LaMalfa and Assemblyman James Gallagher teamed up to go above and beyond to deliver any relief they could to victims and their families. That work continues to this day with Assemblyman James Gallagher and that’s why I’m honored to support him. As a community we are united behind him to be the next Congressman for our area,” said Steve Crowder, Paradise Town Mayor.
